Yesterday's homily spoke about how it is more important to give than to receive; that it is in giving that we experience the true meaning of this season. He has given us His only Son that we need to ask ourselves what and how much are we willing to give to Him in return.
He doesn't ask us for anything, which makes it more important that we are able to give something, from our hearts. It is not just the material things, but a life of simplicity and contentment, faith that never wavers, and happiness that is to be shared. Once again, being a blessing to others just like how He has always blessed us.
